ABC Bullion Sydney has hired Nicholas Frappell as Global General Manager

 

ABC Bullion Sydney has hired Nicholas Frappell as Global General Manager, to help grow and develop the business internationally. Nick brings many years of experience in precious metals, both as a trader of spot, forwards and exchange traded futures, and latterly as a marketer to producers, consumers in the automobile, electronics, and petroleum sectors, and hedge funds.

Nicholas worked previously for Mitsui and Co. Precious Metals Inc. in their Hong Kong office where he grew the Australian producer hedge book and precious metals leasing business, and prior to that for the London office. He was formerly manager of Precious Metals for Triland Metals, and RBS Sempra Commodities in London, and before that Sumitomo Corporation where he gained experience in London in commodity finance in the Middle East and in Tokyo where he engaged in arbitrage of TOCOM gold futures.

During his time in London, Nicholas was twice a member of the London Bullion Market Association’s Management Committee, a member of the Finance Committee, and until February was Chairman of the Association’s Membership Committee.
